Fallout 4 is an open-world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Released in 2015, Fallout 4 is the fifth major installment in the Fallout series.

Fallout 4 is set in the year 2287, over 200 years after a global nuclear war devastates the planet. The game takes place in the Commonwealth, a region formerly known as Massachusetts, where survivors struggle to rebuild civilization amidst the ruins. Players assume the role of the "Sole Survivor," the only known survivor of Vault 111, as they embark on a journey to find their missing son and unravel the mysteries of the wasteland.
